Over the years guests have come to Spinks Nest to propose, to honeymoon, to celebrate anniversaries and birthdays, and for a last quiet break before a baby arrives. A romantic flint cottage for two, with a woodburner in a brick inglenook and a bed under the eaves, is made for it.
My husband & I wanted to celebrate our first anniversary somewhere special and honestly couldn’t have picked better.
Proposals
Some ideas for the moment: Holkham’s huge beach at sunset, the stars from Wiveton Downs on a clear night, or a boat out of Morston to see the seals on Blakeney Point. Or simply by the fire at the cottage.
Honeymoons
Slow mornings, long walks from the door, dinner out, and evenings by the woodburner. Our food and drink page has the places we would book.
Anniversaries and birthdays
Book a table somewhere special, such as Socius in Burnham Market or the Gunton Arms, walk a stretch of the coast path, and come back to the fire.
Babymoons
A quiet few days before everything changes: gentle walks, good food and nothing to do but rest. And when the baby comes along, Spinks Nest sleeps two plus a baby, with a travel cot available.
