Holt and the villages around it are some of the best places in Norfolk to hunt for antiques, and a lot of what’s in Spinks Nest came from them. From fine period furniture in Holt to salvage at Letheringsett, the dealers in the old stables at Bayfield Hall and a former chapel full of them at Fakenham, there’s a day’s browsing within half an hour of the cottage.
