Spinks Nest and Riverbank share the same grounds in Hunworth, with the old gardener’s sheds and a well between them: close enough to be together, far enough for privacy. Book both and there’s room for six adults and three children, with a front door, a kitchen and a fire for each.

In both cottages

A flint cottage for two
Spinks Nest
One double bedroom under the eaves, a woodburner against the ancient flint wall and that green-panelled bathroom.
The grounds
Together, under two roofs.
The two cottages sit a few steps apart in the same old grounds, with Riverbank’s garden running down to the chalk stream. Spend the days together and share a meal or two, then each go home to your own cottage.

Christmas, New Year and birthdays
Two kitchens for the cooking, two fires to come home to, and walks from the door.
Spinks Nest is one of my favourite places I’ve stayed in the U.K. The attention to detail in this beautifully designed cottage is incredible.
Spinks Nest is such a peaceful, beautiful place to stay. Everything is so thoughtful and gorgeous.
Such a beautiful cottage – the interior design is high-end and thoughtfully done with lots of attention to detail.
